We have two recycling programs . #1- Aluminum can (please, no tin) recycling with the collection bins just outside the north entrance to the Mountain City Food Lion or between Food Country and Auto Zone. #2- Printer and toner cartridge recycling (except Epson brand ) AND digital cell phones. We send in for recycling your used cartridges that have not been previously refilled and digital (please make sure they are digital!) cell phones. Just bag them up and deposit them in the food collection bin at Mountain City Food Lion. Things like stainless steel non-tippable dog and cat bowls, travel crates, toys for dogs and cats, treats for dogs and cats, collars, harnesses and leashes are always needed. Dogs love to play with used footballs and soccer balls. The more worn the better. Food is always needed, especially puppy and kitten food as well as dog biscuits. We have a food donation bin decorated with a picture of a cat and a dog located at Food Lion.
